My surface pattern designs and all of my art are created at the intersection of art, faith, and the neuroscience of beauty. Using hand-drawn and painted motifs, I blend modern and vintage aesthetics to create illustrations, original paintings, and patterns that foster beauty, evoke emotional well-being, and spiritual resonance. Designed prayerfully and with intention, my work serves ethical brands seeking thoughtful, wholesome designs that especially connect deeply with women and children.
To me, art is our human attempt to take the agonizingly fleeting moments, temporal beauty and wonder, and everything that's constantly passing away on this earth, into something eternal. Something that lasts, that imprints the soul of humanity.
Art is healing. It's a visual expression of the very breath of life. It's a manifestation of the very Creator who designed us, in whose image we are made. I believe we are all "Created to create".
I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until after I graduated college, which I went to straight after high school, that my lifelong dream to be an artist full-time was re-awakened. I started hosting "art healing" gatherings, sharing and selling my art online and publicly at the boardwalk in San Diego, and participating in art shows.
These experiences impacted me deeply, demonstrating the nourishing, restorative, and connective powers of art. My personal mission is to spread the healing power of art, bringing joy, light, and wonder to dark places. I hope to inspire creativity, hope, and possibility.
